3/31/2016 0 Comments ApplesThis image isn't showing what I wanted it to show as I was going for a more halloween/bonfire theme. However this image could now be used within a cookbook for kids. When shooting I didn't realise how many of the chocolate balls had been damaged or broken so a lot of editing had been done to fit it. I have also brought out the colours so make them pop a little more.

3/28/2016 0 Comments Mini Egg CakeThis shoot was actually okay to do however the background on both images don't work at all. I had no please with these shoots as I knew what I was doing I just didn't think about the setting as much as I could have. So I shall be coming back to reshoot this image at a later date, with perhaps a blue background which should make the image pop out more.
3/20/2016 0 Comments YoghurtThis was one of my favourite shoots to do but also the most annoying as the yoghurt starts to separate in the heat of the lights. I also believe this is my strongest image within my final set. I had a little help from David as he changed the lighting arrangement to the best angle, he also helped me put 4-5 images together in photoshop as when photographing we realised that not all the best parts of the image could be taken in one image and would need merging together.
This image will be the photograph that I get printed for the exhibition in June. However I still need to decided what size and paper I want it to be printed on and where I shall be getting it printed. 3/19/2016 0 Comments Interim ShowAs the end of year show is fast approaching. My fellow students and I put on another interim practice show on March 16th. Unfortunately as I was not able to attend due to other commitments I decided to volunteer with the hanging of the show that morning/afternoon. This interim show was a lot harder to organize due to most students printing A1 landscapes. However we managed and I believe it flowed very well.
3/16/2016 0 Comments SteakThis was a challenging shoot as I didn't know how I wanted the image to look and the meat was slowly changing colour from being left out in the studio lighting for half the day. I didn't get any help with this image as I was trying to take what David had told me before hand, however I don't think it turned out that well. The image is very dark and the colours are off so I am hoping that once I have done some editing on it I can use it within my final set.
3/4/2016 0 Comments BrowniesNow these brownies have proved to be very difficult due to the colour not as intense as I would of liked it to be and the fact that they don't quite look like what they are suppose to be. I also has a little trouble with how I wanted them to be stacked/placed on the table while taking the images. However I believe in post production I can gain an image for my final set. The images on the right are the original copies. As you can see they look very brown, almost chocolate like however they are suppose to be a red velvet brownie. I have enhanced the colour of the brownie and made the cream cheese more white than the yellow it came out as on the original image. From the post production I have grown fonder of this image and hope to use it in my final set.
